About Me
My love for designing and building delightful objects began at an early age while playing with Lego. Growing up, I used to take apart toys and to look at the gears and electronics inside. I would play with Lego and design airplanes, boats, even helicopters. Lego were a great tool for the budding designer because they exemplify a modular design system. Pieces combine to make parts, which combine to form a structure like components in an app. Years later when I studied design in college, little did I know I was continuing my journey as a designer.
I am a Bay Area native, graduated from San Jose State University (SJSU), and have continued my education at California College of the Arts (CCA), Cooper, An Event Apart, and Adaptive Path. While studying at SJSU, I completed work in web accessibility. I am also an active member of the Information Architecture Institute (IAI), IxDA and SIGCHI.
